Designed a high school website for a college honors project, emphasizing user experience and modern web design.
Since August 2024, I have been part of The Data Mine at Purdue University, where I am developing a detection framework to identify irregularities in large-scale security data. Utilizing tools such as Splunk, Citrix, Python, and Regex, I am focused on creating and implementing actionable detections. Additionally, I leverage Jupyter Notebooks to enhance explainability and facilitate further research into security data analysis.
I managed the migration of 200 users to new PCs, ensuring a seamless transition with minimal disruption. In this role, I conduct daily technology troubleshooting and support, utilizing tools such as Active Directory (AD) and Microsoft System Center Configuration Manager (SCCM). I assist in resolving technical issues, which enhances system performance and maintains user satisfaction. Additionally, I gain hands-on experience in IT operations, utilizing tools like TeamViewer, ServiceNow, and Windows Software Center, while developing advanced technical skills in a business environment.
Outside of the classroom and work, I actively participate in various cybersecurity challenges and platforms, including HackTheBox, TryHackMe, National Cyber League, and CyberPatriot. Through these competitions and labs, I consistently build my skills in vulnerability detection, network defense, and ethical hacking. This hands-on experience allows me to tackle a wide range of real-world security scenarios, enhancing both my technical expertise and my strategic approach to cybersecurity.
My projects demonstrate a deep-rooted commitment to cybersecurity and technology education. From developing a website for a high school as part of my college honors program to earning the CompTIA Security+ certification, I've applied my skills in real-world scenarios that enhance both my technical foundation and creative problem-solving abilities. Teaching cybersecurity fundamentals to students aged 12-18 has been a rewarding opportunity to foster curiosity and awareness in the next generation. I'm continually expanding my project experience, including future projects in cybersecurity tackling today’s evolving security landscape
